How can i check what the code its throwing??
All the obd2 scanners indicate a syncing problem, most likeley because its an obd1 ecu.

Jump the service connector and count the CEL blinks.

 

Its raining out here i havent checked for that connector. I thought only the 94-95 had that service connector, and the obd2 cars only had the obd2 plug. Ill check if its there.
Are you shure the obd2 cars have the service connector??

Yes, OBD2 cars have the service connector too. You're supposed to jump the connector when you adjust ignition timing. And of course it will give you DTC codes without using an OBD2 scanner.

 

I have always used this method even when I ran the stock obd2 ecu.
