Distributor cap, rotor, ignitor and coil could be some possible things to look at testing/replacing.

ok i have all the symptoms down to the wire.. i put a new cap and rotor on the car and it doesnt do it when its cold now.. now when it gets to running temp about 60 to 80% of the time it will hit 2.5 to 3 rpm and start losing all the motors power.. it will do it untill i absolutely floor it then it just all the suddens bucks and lunges forward untill i shift into the next gear and it does it again. if i shut the car off at a stop sign really quick and restart it sometimes that helps.. any ideas will help its driving me crazy! ive heard of other people having these symptoms but it seems know one finds the problem or atleast they dont post it.

If you have the money replace fuel filter if it still bucks then check fuel pump output get a brass fitting to fit where the fuel line connects to the fuel rail. Get a measuring cup. run the hose to the cup then turn KOEO ( Key on engine off). Then check online or ask someone at honda to look it up for you spec should be in ounces. If its lower than spec you'll have to change your fuel pump. Let me know how it works out.

Probably but why do you want to buy that ? Make sure fuel pressure is the problem before buying parts you may or may not need. And it's not an easy job to replace the fuel pump anyhow. Get a fuel pressure gauge and check it vs oem specs first.

However, it's 15 bucks for a fuel filter, I'd just swap that out first. You never know.

I love how people just throw money at a car thinking its gonna get better.

Save your cash buy a guage or fuel pressure kit and then go from there.

STOP trying to cut corners it never seems to help brotha!!!

No codes,,,,,lazy O2 and or clogged egr ports (not the valve the ports).

How do you clean the f23a1 egr ports any links with guides? and how can i check the O2 sensors without just replacing them

you can check the o2 sensor with a multimeter. im not good with those things so ill let someone else chime in. i usually remove them and see if they are burnt and make sure to replace them with a denso manufactured one.

cant remember how the ports are layed out on the f23a1. if its like the f22bs from the previous generation then there should be a plate held onto the intake manifold with 10mm bolts right next to the fuel rail. remove this plate and clean all the carbon build up from the inside of the plate and the egr ports underneath it.

if the above is not the case then i think there are no ports. i did a f23 im swap on my old f22b1 and the egr tunnel ran straight to the upper manifold chamber instead of to separate ports in each lower manifold runner. the lower intake manifold will need to be removed in order to soak the egr tunnel with acetone/paint thinner and then be rinsed thoroughly and set out to dry

how does she idle when hot/cold? check fuel pressure like stated above.

if it idles at running temp sometimes it stutters just a tiny bit most problems occur when running temp.

check all the fluid levels. any smoke coming out the tailpipe? could definitely be a faulty egr system allowing exhaust gases in at idle and low rpms. make sure to have the map(manifold absolute pressure) and the o2 sensor tested since they both control the air to fuel ratio.

compression and ignition timing check couldnt hurt either
