95 ls into ef wiring?
i have a 91 ef with a 95 ls in it. you can put it to the floor and the rpms go up slowly till about 3500 where its like a rev limiter. driving it it is the same real slow. the kid i got it from did a hack job with the swap and the engine harness is all ****ed up.
so my question is what kind of harness do i need for it to run right? i need the obd0 harness to match the body right? i have the obd1 ecu with the conversion harness. or do i need obd1 to match the engine?

you can use the obd0 alternator and dizzy if you want to stay obd0 or you could kit a kit from like rywire and run the obd1 ecu. also to make your day much easier use the obd0 body harness its much easier.
if you plan on building this motor go obd1, it has more tuning abilities. you can either buy the parts seperate or in a package, you need a obd1 dizzy, dizzy adapter, ecu jumper, ecu and maybe vtec wiring if going vtec. i'll use this website as an example http://www.xenocron.com/obd0-to-obd1...age-p-539.html
idk how good you are but you can do some of the wiring yourself, like make a dizzy adapter.
but first off, why not just fix your harness? are you getting a code? code 4? If there is a code 4, the engine automatically goes into limp mode because the ecu tells it to (3500 rpm rev limiter).
Do this: check the wires at the ecu, b10/b12 and c1/c2. c1/c2 should be going to your distributor. search google for a DPFI to MPFI swap instructions and follow that, check all the wires at the ecu and make sure they are going to the right place.
2. if that doesnt work, check the distributor, test it/ have it tested/ replace it.
3. check spark plug wires.
what ecu are you using?

And i checked the wiring to the ecu on the diagram I got from my buddies shop. Also it is throwing a code but I haven't checked yo see what it is.
i think you can use the obd0 harness with all the jumpers? idk not sure never done a obd1 swap yet. but i know crx_si-r ^^ makes good harness for cheap for an ef milspec tucked harness. PM him.
You will need to go back to the basics. Since your car was a dx (dual point injection) you will need to get a clean stock harness. And them from there modify it as needed. I can make you a dpfi to obd1 complete plug n play harness.
