Default running your TIG with a generator?

so i recently had to go do some welding work at a buddys hanger and he doesn't have 220v out there.

We tried using a friends small generator with no success.

Just curious if anyone knew what size generator would be necessary.

The machine is a syncrowave 200.

Depends on how much your laying into it.
I used a trailblazer to power a miller syncro 300, so 11kw and at 150amps with the pedal down the generator was starting to lug.
