91 civic dx d16z6 swap fuel pump wont stop priming
ok, so i have a 91 civic dx sedan. i just recently did an engine swap to obd1 d16z6. everything seems to be ok aside from the fact that the car wont turn off with the key. also the fuel pump continues to prime. no check engine light or anything. its starts up fine. im stumped as to what to do. i used the dx wiring harness, removed the dual point injector wires(red-yellow/black, yellow-yellow/black) and ran the wiring from the mpfi. all four injector wires with yel/blk and ran them straight to the ecu(p28 auto converted to manual). i ran the vtec wires along with the four o2 wires and two cyp wires to distributor. i didnt cut any wires from the dx harness and i soldered and heat shrinked everything. ive already tested the main fuel relay, and the ignition switch and they checked out fine. am i missing something? any help would be greatly appreciated.
as of right now i just have a kill switch running to the yellow/green wire on the distributor to shut it off for a temporary fix.
