So the other day I drove to LA to take my cousin to LAX. It was about a 2 hour drive each way. I baby my car and it has been the only long trip I took. Well when I got back from the trip everything was fine. The next day I turn on the car and at idle the car seems to vibrate, and I can not tell where it is coming from. I notice the air filter was a little loose and I tightened it but nothing. I was wondering what could possibly be the issue? Motor mounts "Look" good but havent done a test on them to check. I didnt whip my car or anything I drove it cruising to LA and back and the next day it was vibrating which was odd....Any Suggestions guys?

 

how bad a vibration? just because the mounts look good doesnt mean they are.

 

The vibration on a scale of 10 would be a 4-5 at idle or when shifting and revolutions drop from 1-2k

go over the mounts again. when my passenger side tore it looked fine. when i pulled it out it literally fell apart on me.

 

But most likely it could be a mount correct? That is what I am assuming wiht my past experience. I mean the car was perfectly fine no issues still idles fine, runs fine, it just seems to vibrate on low RPMS where the car has a natural deep point.
