so i was driving the other day when suddenly i heard my exauste sound diff like it was making a farting noise(i have stock exauste) so i pulled over and noticed that on the passnger side of my rex there was alot of noise coming from there and when i revd it the carb escaped from there not from my exauste so i looked umder my car and it has a little crack probly about half an inch long and like 10 milimeters long so its not thta big but it sounds way diff so i was thinking if i where put J B weld would it close the crack or would the heat end up melting the J B weld??

It really depends on where the repair is needed on the exhaust due to the temperature restriction of JB Weld.

 

Where exactly is the crack? On what part of your exhaust? You could try JB weld and some manifold tape. I've seen that do the trick on some smaller cracks before on B pipes.

 

There's also an exhaust repair kit you can get at any parts store. It's basically a piece of heat resistant fabric and a big metal brace that tightens down over the wound. But I don't recommend this if the crack is on a bend. I tried it once, and it kept slipping.

 

Maybe just get a replacement exauste pip from a junkyard?
It may caust you just az mutche as a toob of jbwelld.

Just get to a local muffler shop before the thing falls off and takes your rear bumper with it.
