I have ground control limited edition coilovers and want to get the tokico HP premiums struts will this make the handling better then the stocks. Basically are they any good my car is dropped about 1.75" thanx.

 

i wouldn't really know because when i bought my car used it came with them on there, but all that i know is that my car feels pretty good for being lowered as much as it is. I think that it would be a good investment because when most people lower their cars they only get new springs and don't replace the struts. I think that to have the whole job done right that it is a good idea to get aftermarket struts, but that is just my opinion. If nothing else they look nice, especially for your blue theme.

 

You can get many ones out there. I recommend Bilstein, or Konis.

 

i have a set of tokico illuminas off of my 00 gsr..with approx. 3k on them.
they are the 5-way adjustables.
i loved them

 

I'd recommend Koni Yellows (a bit biased). They are fully adjustable and have a lifetime warranty.

 

lifetime warranty???? anyone blow a koni yellow and get a new one for free???? just wondering if its one of those stupid warrantys that only exist on the paper

 

Try looking up CRX_Lee in the autocross roadrace forum. he works for Koni and is a great resource.

From what I have heard the warranty is the real deal. However, its hard to blow a koni unless you run very high spring rates.
