brake block question
hey guys its been a while, anyhow i just scooped up a 93 si hatch for a good price, have a couple issues with it i hope maybe you can help me with, 1st is they guy replace the brake block that turns two lines into 4 for the brake lines, im assuming he did not bleed the system correctly because it wont hold pressure and you have to pump it sometimes, would that give me a weird idle somehow? it idles high then drops to normal, then goes high again ( annoying) its not bouncing like a tps idle. also when im at a steady speed i can hear the engine miss slightly could that be because of the high compression from the d15b block and the z6 head? i wasnt thinking and put regular in it today
also its using a dx ecu when i get the p28 should i get it tuned for the set up or dose that even matter?
tia guys if you have question ill awnser them the best i can..

That was hard to read. You need to proof read that crap. We can't help you if we can't understand it.
proportioning valve. I've never heard it called a block before.
They could need to be re bled, this is more then likely the issue. But, I suppose it could be the check valve.
Any cel's? Your runing your car with the wrong ecu, do you really expect it to run perfecly?
You need to get a chipped ecu, and have it dyno tuned. YES it does matter.
It may also need a tune up. Normally the wrong octane fuel would cause it to ping. Go put some 93 in it, and see if it fixes it. I doubt it will.
But, due to the high compression you may need to run 93 to began with. I don't know what the compression is, though.

thanks for your reply. im sorry if it was hard to understand i am disabled.. ..
anyhow no cel light, from my understanding, the only diff in the p28 and the dx ecu is vtec will not work.. aslo im guessing the car sat for a good while, all the tires were flat and it was pretty dusty on the outside.. also what is this check valve you speak of?
