front end vibration at 75-90 mph
so first of all i just wanna say that i dont usually drive at 90 mph, i keep it close to 75-80 haha but anyway. 2000 honda accord lx 4 door f23a4 motor 5 speed manual 141,xxx miles. when i drive at highway speeds, i get vibrations in the steering wheel and the car seems like it doesnt grab the road like it did when i first bought it. i also get a pulsing feeling the in steering wheel when i take turns at lower speeds. the vibration starts once get to around 75 mph and i wanted to see if it would go away at a higher speed so i put the pedal down and things smoothed out once i got to around 90 mph. I know that tires being out of balance and bad tie rod ends could cause the vibration. i checked my tie rod ends quickly yesterday and there didn't seem to be too much play in the front wheels both side to side or up and down so it seems like it wouldnt be that. im still gonna take a closer look when i get the chance. also, theres a tire shop in my town that will balance all 4 tires for $25 so im gonna see if that makes a difference. what else could cause these problems? just to make sure i cover all my bases.
