Default Tps Problem?

91 civic hatch std
d15b2-dx motor mpfi swaped

Alright so im in the middle of swapping shells right now and i pulled my motor from my car and put it in my new hatch which is the 91. i didnt touch the engine harness so none of my plugs are backwards. Only thing is my tps cracked somehow when i pulled the motor. So i thrrew another one i had laying around on there.

Anyways when i start it up its acts like its out of gas and spudders. It wont rev past 1500. At first i thought it was bad gas so i put new gas in there with some stp and tried a different fuel filter too. Nothing helped, but i unpluged the tps and it reved to 2200.

I dont understand, im not throwing anycodes, The motor ran perfect before i took it out. I triple checked my wiring for the mpfi and its good.

Any input would be great,
Thanks

Also i just checked the voltage on the tps. i Got 3.72v at idle, and 5.02v at wot. I guess its the wrong tps? or its bad. The wires on the tps are switched around for the mpfi swap by the way.

Adjusting wont help. .5 at closed and 4.5 at wot is where it is supposed to be. Sounds like the tps is bad.

If yours is riveted on you will have to take of the tb and drill it out. Im sure you can find a right up on here of how to do as its been done plenty of times.

If you have another tps just take a dremel and cut slots in the rivets, then use a screw driver. I had to use a drill and a hacksaw to get one from the junkyard, not fun.

hey just asking.... did you make sure all injectors are plugged in and working? it could have been the tps, but check your injectors. could have been a problem within a problem.
