Default Front bumper removed, Lens cleaning and correction needed

Here are the pics, takin with a camera not the blackberry. Looking at them, I think they're actually more hazy in person.
I keep moving that dial behind the housing and the light dont move up anymore.

Also you can see the water inside of the housing, this was from rain that happened days ago. They take long to evaporate. When it rains, the inside gets fogged up with humidity and prevents the light from passing through the lens as you can see in the above pics only the driver side beam hits the wall.. the right beam doesnt even shine for s***. add on top of that the way low aim.. so now you see why i cant see much at night. I'm going to figure out what's wrong with them and try to see if I can fix, really hope I dont have to invest another 200 or so bucks on new housings

So is it safe to bake these things, the plastic wont melt? i guess depends on the time in the oven. How many degrees and for how long? i heard 250 degrees for 15mins..

It's Ok managed to take the screw off and take off the harness. Baked them, glue loosened up, they pried right open. As you can see the lens is a little cleaner now, yet for some reason still a little hazy after rebuffing and re-polishing several times i guess since they're old and the water residue has been in there for so long. The reflectors are now nice and shiny. The driver side lenses didn't even need to bake or open they're naturally clean with no water leak, why? have no idea. but behind those dials you can see there are screws which moves the black metal piece the bulbs are connected to. In two of the photos you can see the metal piece actually touches the roof of the housing and I think now I see why the lights don't move up more, there isn't anymore room for the lights to move up. The black metal piece is literally touching the ceiling of the housing. Looks like a defect to me. I'm not sure if it's only because of that or why just mines, if everybody elses lights work fine or point upwards, don't know why not mine or why nobody else has this same defect.

Looks like the only solutions would be to either somehow cut down that metal piece so there's more leeway for it to move upwards, not sure how, use the redneck method and put cardboard or washers under the housings to lift them up, although not my first choice and unreliable, or to just buy new housings. I hate how halos look on a teg so that is not an option for me. I still have my car with no front and lights sitting outside in the cold in my parking spot, no garage. If I can't find a way to make these work, I will re-bake re-seal and use the ghetto solution. The cheapest I could find the housings are about $173 for one or $335 for both on amazon. The only thing I could find at the moment through a quick search at pepboys for the sealant was the one in the pic. It says for glass but also says for lamp assemblies. I might not have to use it since the glue is still in between the seams.

Anybody know anything about metal cutting or any solution to cutting down the metal pieces or any ideas at all?? Really would prefer to just save money and fix these housing that are still good and re-use them. Thanks

Dont know too much about resealing them but as far as lens restoration...Advanced Auto, not sure of the name but its in a silver pouch and cost about $20. The instructions will say sand them for about 4 minutes...ignore that. You scrub the crap out of them until all the old film and residue comes off in flakes. I mean really sand the crap out of them. Then apply the CV stuff that comes with it and those things will look better than new. Its the only one I use and if you do it right you will only have to do that once every year or two. Really bring those HID's out.
