picked up another hatch about a month ago. i was planning on building another B series civic but i got a sweet deal on a k20a2 from an 02 RSX type-s. so i figured id give this K thing a try.






iv already done all of the body work, started the wire tuck, converted the clutch to hyperbolic, and i just had a friend sandblast my suspension parts so im going to paint and press new bushing in them next.

the two biggest parts of this swap are trying to figure out how to run my wiring, and trying to be frugal to save money for parts. ill post pics of my wire and line tuck soon. anyone thats ever done this swaps input would be appreciated!

 

oh my, thank goodness those welds won't be visible -_-, and a hyperbolic clutch huh.. that's a new one lol.

dyslexias a bitch. my fingers are faster than my head. when i started this swap i found out about k20. i figured id post my build here as well. just faithful to HT i guess.

about them welds, the only thing iv ever done weld wise was put an exhaust together. this was my first attempt at something useful. i am glad this brackets under the dash tho. it will do the job tho. if anyone has any good advice about basic welding im all ears.

 

You've just gotta watch your weld and make sure it's hot enough to penetrate. And next time, use argon. lol
