yeppers its in, and i did it all by myself, almost. Its alot better than my blown piston a6. Im already working on getting a z6 head to rebuild for my wonderous turbo wagon. yay! im so happy!

 

Thats awesome, Ive always had an interest for those wagons. What is your mod list like, and have you run it yet? Also, what tranny are you using?

 

its an '89 wagovan, rt4wd, my mod list isn't a reality yet but this is what i plan:

z6 head, internal rebuilt so as to support higher rpm and turbo.
srp pistons
crower rods
stronger tranny(I still haven't figured this one out yet, besides swaping stronger gears in, but i also want the 4wd to work in the whole process)
upgraded axels(I need to find out what will fit my wagon. Since you know, im going for mad hp)
upgraded fuel system, which i'll research at a later date, but im kinda in the ball park with that
i think thats baout it...should be some wad of cash and a couple years in the making.

 

its the, i guess what you'd call the si tranny. Its stock off the d16a6, but its also 4wd. The gear ratio is purty close imo.
