Default Exhaust Bolt Leaking Coolant

I have a 2000 GSR completely stock and was running great. I noticed a couple exhaust bolts broken so I pulled the manifold and tried to remove them. I got one out no problem, but the other was stuck and like a true man I tried to fix it myself. I drilled the bolt as close to center as I could and didn't even drill the hole to 6.8mm like the M8-1.25 bolt needs for tapping. Everything was going good, then I got about 2-3 threads tapped and it started leaking coolant.

My question is, is there any way to fix this or is my head done? If I need a new head, will a P72-1 be an exact match for my P72-2?

The heads are the same exact thing the number 1 and 2 after the p72 only symbolize the year they are!like. P72-1 is from 94/95 98+ is p72-2
Other then that the heads are exactly the same

Here's a link chek it out

ive seen it happen with people running the threads in to far. get a new tight fitting exhaust bolt. lace the bottom of the threads that are going into the head with some red high temp rtv. let it fully cure before running the motor. if it dosent leak your good. try to get a good look into the hole. it might just be a pin size hole. make sure u use the red high temp rtv

I've done this drilling broken bolts out on american aluminum heads, no need to get a new head. Permatex makes thread sealer, it comes in a white tube and looks like marshmellow cream. Works perfect. Part # 59235. Good luck.
