Default Logic Motorsport Header on a Prelude

I wanted to give a heads up to us luders who want to run the Logic Motorsport header. It needs alot more then the usual notching, those with traction bars will have no problems though.

I really want to see a dyno for this header. It looks just like the camp header, which didn't make much over a dc/ebay/megan etc. Looks great, clean crossmember job too.

does the stock front engine mount still fit? or does it have to be altered?

+1 Seriously, that is awesome notch work... We hope you enjoy the product zuptidi!

Prudz_lude: I know what you mean. Not sure about the previous camp header... The outer design may look similar but this header has been tested and refined. Our street driven H2B car makes 268whp 187 lbs of tq on pump gas with the same kind of header. Countless people run this header on stock H22s and H2Bs and just about everything in between. We speak from personal experience.

The final product makes the most power of all mass produced H series headers today. Several people have done independent testing and posted results in the all motor section.

Thanks guys. I cut the notch and Racelab did the welding. I did dyno against my old bisimoto. Dyno was not on the same day though . Bisi made. 237/180.
Logic made 235/183

they are probably both good quality and make good power. IN that case, it comes down to price and warranty.

I wish it was that simple my friend. This header was designed to make power. Unfortunately with the preludes and accords they have the awful huge and bulky cross member. You simply cannot fit large enough pipes through that tiny opening between the block and the cross member.

So, its not a matter of making on that wont require a bolt on traction bar from innovative or notching the stock cross member. It's just the actual opening just wont allow any reasonable size header to pass through with our proven design.

For the power gain, price, and lifetime hassle free warranty from Logic. The gains far out weight the cons in my opinion. Hope this helps

There are other knock-off headers that will fit okay.

hi Logic, any chance you could tell me how far from the block this header sits where it passes the cross member. maybe could use the sump gasket line as a datum point,

Thanks

Guys, if you are seriously gonna run a header like this you obviously want to make power. whats one of the biggest problem making power with a fwd? wheelhop, get a traction bar and life will be so much easier plus you will have even more room and it will look cleaner. just my2 cents

Um really cause I am running a big tube header in my prelude with stock front cross member. So I dont think that is a very correct comment. Since The RMF headers are clearly the same style design as these are. Looks nice but I wouldnt notch anything in a cross member.

actually the camp1320 header is very similar too this design and the rmf header is quite a bit different as is the bisi header that clears stock cross member...

Have you seen an RMF 4-1 header and the Logic tri Y before? They are completely different designs.

There is just no way to run a full length long tube tri y header and make the stepped pipes fit through that peep hole opening between the block and the stock prelude and accord cross member.

Running an innovative cross member or notching the cross member is absolutely necessary to run the logic tri y header on a prelude or accord. The performance gains is well worth the effort.

Someone asked us how far the header sits from the head. It's 6 inches. Hope this helps!

that was me mate, just trying to make sure it'll fit before i order one, its not in a lude, its in a spaceframed golf, the measurement from the sump gasket would be good also mate,

What is a sump gasket? Are you referring to the 2.5" round gasket or the oil pan? <<<< I wont have that measurement as of this moment.

I'll give You a simple solution. You can purchase the header, if it will not work send it back and for a full refund! Just as long as it's not damaged or used. We will do whatever we can do ensure you guys have a pleasant experience buying from us!
