crx help :(

Default crx help :(

ok im seriously at witts end with this car, ive tried everythinggggg to get it to start and its still not starting. its a 1990 crx si with a b18b1 swap with the stock crx si harness, i relocted the battery in the trunk and uven changed the dizzy to an obd1 and got a jumper harness for the ecu to obd1, i get spark and fuel and the motor is healthy it came out of my teggy i just dont get why its not starting, the main relay is good i tested it, i really need to get this car started asap, plz if u view let me know what u think

just throwing this guess out there... have you checked your grounds?... i had a friend that relocated his battery and he sanded down the ground area, thought he was good. ended up sanding down some more then fired right up


btw unless you have a drycell battery (optima, odyssey, etc, not the standard liquid battery), your battery will vent harmful vapors into your cabin while its under use

ill check the grounds once more but thx i didnt know that, and i have 440 dsm injectors yes ik there not good for a stock setup but they worked on another ls in a rex just fine

another thing i noticed was you know when u put the key in and turn it too accrssories just before u crank it and it makes that like beep.....beep....beep.. and primes the fuel pump? well i get all the acessory lights but no sound and ive used my relay on another car and works just fine so idk ive tried different ecu's different dizzy's and nothing still

have you checked your fuel pump? and those are pretttty big injectors for a stock ls... like wayyy to big for a stock ls

check the ground wires that connect at the thermostat housing - make sure the connection is clean and secure

yea i checked there to cause ik thats important ground and can affect spark but nothing still :/

im getting fuel to the fuel rail, and spark so i think the fuel pump is good

check to see if the injectors are pulsing.

Basically just hook a test light between the two pins of one of the injector plugs and then crank the engine over, the light should flash. i suggest you look on google and such for how to's on this though, im not allways the best with explanations

does it crank at all? are you sure your negative ground wire on the battery is in a good spot in the trunk? is the plug wires in the right firing order.

me and my friends crx LS both did this, mine turned out to be a bad negative terminal ground so i added 2 more. and his was a bad ground and the firing order wasn't right. fixed it and it started right up

the ground is in a good area, it just cranks and cranks and cranks and nothing, firing order is good to
