Default d16a1 swap into 91 dx hatch questions

my buddy is swapping a d16a1 (dohc) out of an 89 integra into his 91 hatch, weve both done a bunch of research on it and everybody seems to have different answers for everything, the car was originally a d15b1 (70hp ) with a 4spd trans, so what is he going to need mounts/axles wise and what will he need regarding the wiring?

any help is greatly appreciated, thanks!

The D16a1 is not a direct swap into an ED(ef) and it will require a lot of custom fabrication skills to even get the motor in. NO stock mounts can just be put on and drop it in there, hope you guys got some fab skills. IMO not worth it just get a jdm dohc zc.

I wouldn't attempt this swap. Then ends don't justify the means.

i told him to just put a b18b in it, but he thought it would be cheaper using this motor since he got it for $150

i guess he'll be using a trans out of a crx instead of the one that came on the d16a1, if that helps the situation any

this swap is not a direct swap not even worth the time and money just get a dohc zc
I dont even think a cable si tranny will fit on to it...... you can only use the tranny that came with the d16a1 which is useless
