Once again, I own a right hand drive 1996 Accord EX (F20B2 non-vtec SOHC) in the Caribbean..
I am in the habit of buying parts in the US and bringing them down to the caribbean to work with my car..
In this case, I spent $170 on the complete prothane bushing kit including the rear control arm upper and lower bushings..
I finally go to mount it up on my car today and the only major bushings that fit are the front control arm lower bushings..
The upper's don't fit in front and NONE of the rear bushings fit..
I am out a considerable amount of money and I just have to question why honda would use a different control setup for a Japanese produced model such as mine as compared to the US counterparts..
So, I have all these bushings and no use for them.. .I am going to probably send them back to the US with some friends and list them for sale..
So crestfallen..

Turns out that they may not have my application but I will still be sure to email...
I wonder what to do with all these prothane bushings now? Maybe advertise on the site looking for takers? Maybe try to put everything back together to possibly sell as a whole kit?
Maybe try returning seeing as I bought it from JEGS..

I don't see why not. Reason for Return: "Does not fit." Keep in mind that poly bushings can be PITA at times to install.
How different in size were they? Did they come with new shells or do you reuse the existing shells? Usually the kits that require reuse of the existing shells is where the problem will occur.

Prothane comes with all new shells on whatever bushings require it with the only exception being the sway bar bushings..
I will double check with my mechanic (and vernier caliper) just to make sure tomorrow... I really hope that I made a mistake and am wrong about it though..
That said, if I have to return I will have to convince Jegs.. I hear they have good customer service but I guess I will see?
Thing is, I don't mind keeping some things from the kit, eg. the shock absorber bushings and isolators, sway bar bushings, ball joint boots etc.. But those really are the cheap components.. The expensive ones appear not to work...
I will update tomorrow..
