Dc gear into Da
Hi, I'v used this forum a couple years now, mainly browsing pics of cars for inspiration on my own projects, owned a b16 ek hatch, a da6 integra and now a dc2 integra.
My dc2 is currently in many peices having an engine rebuild and all the suspension arms polybushed along with some other cool mods over the boring winter months... My question here is could i transfer all my running gear into a Da shell? I owned them both long enough to see they arent that dissimilar but i havent ever looked under both at the same time. I'd be fitting everything from my dc2 (coilovers/ brakes/ 5 stud hubs/ b18c6/ s80 box etc)
Im sure alot of people have done similar before on here as i see alot of dedicated Da owners.
Thanks in advance!

Clutch Hydraulics may give you a problem due to the fact that the DA came with cable clutch engagement and the DC chassis came with hydraulic engagement so some modifications may be needed to make it work. Motor will be fine. Not sure about the coilovers. I have taken TEIN DA struts and put them on a DC using the strut fork from the appropriate car. Not sure about the bearings and hubs due to the lack of experience but I do know the factory part numbers are different on the bearing...the range is 90-93 on the DA bearing and 94-01 on the DC chassis. The same holds true for the brakes as well...but once again I am lacking in the experience part.
