Just as the title states will a 1989 honda crx hf chassis harness fit a 1989 honda crx dx without any major problems?

 

Still trying to figure this all out completely. I have a dx with an obd1 d15b vtec. The wiring harness "tuck" was done very poorly so I decided to replace everything. I ordered a new chassis harness which I thought was a dx, and when I got it I found out it was for an hf. The hf harness I got is a complete harness with the fuse boxes, the seperate dash harness and everything, just not the harness for the rear of the car. I was planning on having a custom engine harness made so would I be able to put the hf harness in and have an engine harness made to connect to that?

 

This will only work if you have an HF engine harness aswell and the rear tailight harness. I did this on my DX to convert to MPFI the only problem I ran into with the rear tailight harness was it wouldn't plug into my hatch harness because it was for an Si and had more wires. Idk if that would be a problem if you have a hatch from a Dx though.
