Is JDM better than USDM, or is USDM better than JDM, or does it all just depend on style??

USDM or JDM what? Different laws and regs = different stuff. Performance stuff, JDM most of the time. Aesthetics depends on the person.

It depends on part to part basis.... its too general to say either JDM or USDM. But i can say the JDM has the advantage. (Less restricting laws/our cars are made from Japan)
