i have a 96 prelude si with a 2.3 vtec and i using a 37820-p06-a02 its been chipped and tuned but i feel like the car isnt running right, is their a better ine that i should use?
The P06 ECU with an OBD2A to OBD1 harness has all the correct circuitry that you'd need to run the h23A. If you are having a severe lack of power have your tuner either find out what is holding it back, or find a more competent tuner.

92-96 are OBD1 and all have the choice of F22A1, H23A1, or an H22A1. When OP said he has the 2.3L, it's the H23A1 engine he has in it. The 97+ all have H22s which are OBD2. In this case, he doesn't need a jumper harness since the car's already an OBD1. My JDM H22A is a '96 engine and is an OBD1.
Wrong.

92-96 preludes are the same body style, but the 92-95 models are obd1 and the 96-01 models are all obd2... And as for the h22 thing, I said "I thought" they all had them, I didn't know, that's why I didn't say "they absolutely all have h22's"

to tell u the truth it was tunned by a buddy a of mine and for the life of me i havent been able to get a hold of him to ask him what he did, i think im gunna find some one else here in miami to look at it.
Does it have a cable for Real Time Programming (RTP)? I'd crack that bad boy open and find out exactly what you have. If its been socketed for a chip, I would recommend going with the new DEMON board from Moates and then either Neptune RTP or eCtune RTP. I have the Demon/Neptune combo and love it. Also run a WBO2. That way you can street tune your beast and make tweaks as needed in between dyno tuning sessions. And go to a reputable shop to get it tuned for real, esp. if you only get a tune without a WBO2 installed in car, that way your engine doesn't blow a hole in a piston because it was running too lean.

But there is a different OBD2 p13 ECU for that model as well. 97 and plus ludes run a different ecu than 96 ludes.
