I hope I posted these right (my first time)

My friend custom made the right taillight from an altezza light. Do you guys think the black one looks good at all? I think it matches the car better. I'm kind of torn because I love the stock tail lights. Let me know what you think.

yeah, I've seen a lot of taillights like them before, but these were originally a silver-ish color in the background, but my friend sawed the lens off and painted it gloss black underneath. Most of the other ones that look black (besides the carbon fiber ones) don't look black at all in person. Yeah, i'd figure no one on this site would be open minded enough to even give them a chance, but the "stock taillight craze" is becoming more of a fad these days than personal opinion. It is getting to be almost as bad as the altezza fad. Opinions change, and I'm sure most of you will follow what is cool in the future. I'm not saying i don't follow fads. If I had the money, I would put a jdm front on my car, get sw388s instead of slipstreams, but I would still contemplate leaving the black tails on my car because I like them. For me personally, I like both stock and the black ones. Thanks for your opinions though.

They both look ok but the stock looks WAY more clean. If you want the flashy look go for the altezzas.

 

competley agree but keep all of your stock stuff in good condition in case you wish to sell your itr to someone with taste.

I agree with you to an extent, but to say that leaving your car factory is a fad is leaning a little bit on the stupidity side. I bought my car to take me to and from work everyday and have a little fun on the weekend, I wish to leave my car stock because it's easier to maintain and is less of a headache. And speaking of open-minded-ness, you're somewhat contradicting yourself when you state your opinion and do not see it from someone else's point of view. My advice to you is to not post here again. You seem to know what the response will be, so why even bother. All of us here are a bunch of close-minded idiots that don't see anything from your point of view. There are numerous message forums that you may feel more at home asking questions that you are asking and I suggest you seek them out and enjoy your stay there.
