Default broken distributor rotor screw!!!!

Today i was changing my distributor rotor and cap.
when i was chaning the rotor the top of the screw broke off
-___- i dnt got the drills to take it off. So for now I just super glued it and started the car n it worked. I was wounding if i can leave it like that for like 3 weeks till i can buy the whole distributor and change it? .. i dont drive that much mostly drive like 2-4 times a day like 30mins drives. will it be okay to drive for 3weeks? i dnt see the rotor moving that much. not that much space cuz of the cap.

Got 97 accord Lx v6

If you used actual super glue and not Elmer's glue then you'll be fine. I used crazy glue on mine and its been that way for almost 2 years.

Should be alright til you get a new one. When it won't fire anymore, you know where to look.

before buying a whole new distributor, call around to some machine shops in your area and see how much they would charge to remove the broken part of the screw from the distributor shaft. Will require you to remove the distributor from the car and probably cost around $25 or so, much better than buying a new distributor.

You can always drill it out and use a press on rotor instead.
