Default 95 accord issues

I'm having a couple of issues with my 95 accord and would like to know if anyone has ever had this same issues
1. ringing noise coming from the valves or cam pulley
2. idle drops like crazy i tried adjusting it and still sits at 500, i clean egr valve, iac valve, egr passages, i notice that idle goes to normal by disconnecting line connected to the fuel pressure regulator
3. some type of whining noise coming from the gear cam.
thanks

1. Not sure w/o actually hearing the noise it makes.

2. How did you go about adjusting your idle? What steps did you take?

3. Timing belt is tooo tight which causes your engine to whur/whine.

Here's the step you need to take to get it back to manufacturer specs so that it's not whurring anymore:

-Remove valve cover and upper timing cover(10mm socket)
-TDC the engine
-Rotate engine CCW three teeths on cam gear
-Loosen the tensioner adjusting nut 2/3 of a turn and retighten(14mm Wrench)
-And you're done! Whurring noise should go away.

I just did a headgasket on my dad's '94 Accord EX last Sat. Did the same procedure as for tensioning the t-belt and never did it once whurr/whine on me. And been doing this same procedure on all my F & H series engine othat I've owned. Good Luck!

I've had the timing belt tensioner pulley go bad on a Mazda, it made a ringing sound.

Does your idle do fine if you unplug any vacuum line or just the fpr one. And if your timing belt is 2 tight and causing the sound you are talking about then there might be a chance its went on so long you scored your cam journals.
