Im thinkin of getting some new headers for my teg. Just wondering what others reccommend brand-wise. DC or GReddy?

 

any opinions?

In a SSC header comparisin test,the DC 4-1 always win.

 

yea go wid the jdm itr 4-1 or you can get the comptech 4-2-1

 

I'm happy with SS DC 4-1

 

i got a dc 4-1 and enjoy it very much! Some times i just open my hood up to look at it. heheh

I have a 2 piece DC header (came on the car) and i am thinking about gettin the JDM style DC

 

i used to have the greddy header. I loved it. The car was able to bark thrid gear all the time. It dropped .2 sec off my 1/8mi ET. Its up for sale if you are interested. asking 225+ shipping. Used only 2 months. PM if anyone is interested

 

greddy would be a good way to go in my opinion but dc is good as well

I got a DC 4-2-1 2 piece ceramic for the lovely price of a 22oz soda. I must say, a difference in midrange... went from a 17.4 in the 1/4... to a 16.5 (at a different track).

For the price, I cant go wrong!

didnt know they made a greddy header. i got a dc stainless steel. i must say that it looks like **** after its broken in. i kind of wish i wouldve got ceramic coated. anyhow if you have the money i would definitely go comptech.

 

yep greddy makes good headers they really work good with the cbs from greddy and look real nice to!

 

DC 4-1 ceramic. When you hit 5k+, you wont know what happened to your car ( it will be a lot faster)

 

comptech for sure. i had a set of dc sports, they rusted fast, the quaility isn't there.

 

how much do comptech headers usually run?

 

i payed 400 for mine, and i'd buy them again in a second. very noticable difference

 

get that DC race header, from the header test from SCC.

 

Sorry if this is coming from the past, but I found a deal on greddy 4-2-1 stainless headers for 290. Should I jump for that, or buy dc 4-1 ceramic for about the same price? I would love a SS header, but don't want to pay 360+ for the dc, how is the quality on the greddy, and will it have an increase in performance? What size is the collector?

 

What kind of exhaust do you have??
If it has 2 1/4 piping get a comptech 4-2-1 header.
