Rusted Power Steering High Pressure Line
I'm trying to remove the high pressure power steering line (the side not attached to the pump) but it is rusted on there pretty good. I can get a line wrench on there (14mm) but it won't budge even with a breaker bar -- the bolt would rather strip than turn. I'm going to buy a pencil torch tomorrow to try and heat it up.
When I was searching, an old thread said to jack the car up but I can't see anyway to get at it from the bottom and the pictures on the old thread no longer work. I've been reaching down behind the motor from the top.
Any tips on getting it off? Would cutting the line and putting a socket on it be better or just torch and line wrench it?
Thanks
