So i have a 92 Si hatch, i dropped my b20b in out from my 93 hatch. Issue im having now is starting it. When the motor is cold i have troube starting it. It will turn over for a few seconds and then die out. But after a few time of that, i can turn her over (lol). And any time after that, i can turn off the car and crank her over with no issue. I replaced the tps sensor (broke while pulling the motor out), injectors cleaned, replace ignition coil, cap, etc...and im getting a code 16 form the ecu (fuel injectors). Battery is good and have a new starter. And im replacing the MAP sensor this weekend. And my ebrake light wont turn off now. Any help on this would be noice! thanks

 

Try resoldeing the main relay or swapping in the main relay from the 93 hatch.

 

the d16z6 that was in there before ran flawlessly. never had any issues whats so ever. i pulled the main relay out to examine it and all the soddering points looked good, no cracks or coloration. I sold the one off the 93 si which sucks but i'll try to source one and test it. my fuel pump does work, at least i can here it when i turn the key to on. thanks!
