Screeching - check for a loose or glazed drive belt.
Noise that goes away when clutch pedal is pushed down - this is typically the sign of a bad main bearing (e.g., input shaft bearing) in the transmission.

Ok than you a friend of mine was saying prob throwout bearing? Also what exactly is a glazed belt? Thanx for ur input!
a glazed belt is a belt that is shiny from slipping "glazed". this will cause the belt to not grip the pulley any more and precede to slip more and more unntil it overheats and pops
