My DPFI --> MPFI writeup
Hey guys,
I just did the swap this weekend and while everything is fresh, I did a thorough writeup on my experiences mixed with some other writeup information and diagrams. Hopefully it helps some of you!
I put it in a pdf file so the images dont expire and so if you print it out, it will have the correct page breaks.
Here it is:
edit: removed external link and attached a .pdf.
edit2: UGH! Sorry, everything is fixed now. You should all be able to open it no problem.
enjoy!

Very true. But hey, if he wants to contribute to the already massive pile of DPFI TO MPFI write ups. Who is to stop him?
Personally you should have just created a PDF and attached it, and left it on this site. I wouldn't download something from a site like you listed, idk if it contained a virus or what not

Truth. But at the same time I felt like the older ones missed a couple things that i had to figure out. Either way, no harm no foul i guess
Plus 90% of the DPFI MPFI writeups are old webpages that are now gone.
Not a bad idea. I'll do the .pdf recommendation.

Sorry for the epic fail on my part. It should work now and I updated all my links.
Got a suggestion about FITV wiring from jlicrx that I'll be adding to the writeup.
Sorry guys! This is what happens when you try to do something good sometimes!

There was a few times where I felt like the existing writeups missed stuff so I added in stuff that i thought they missed or was unclear. I dont see what the problem is with taking the best of all the stuff you need for the swap and putting it in one document. If you dont like it, dont use it?
There are a few grammatical errors here and there. The sentence structure doesn't flow very well, making it slow reading...
My advice would be to take your personal experiences and way of writing out of this composition. It really takes away from the "write-up" as a whole.
The only reason I am nit-picking is because there are so many write-ups on this already, why add another half-butted one to the mix?

Pretty much. I said that in the document as well.

Lol haters are going to hate. You did a very good job on remaking this and dont let anyone tell you different. Competently agree on that the other writeup are out dated and missing a thing or two.
