95 integra wont crank
Ive searched all over and have tried most everything and cant seem to figure this **** box out so i turn to honda-tech.
I have a 1995 acura integra 2 dr 5 speed black interior 87,xxx original miles on body. I bought this car off a friend with no engine or tranny, bondo in the roof gutters and side moldings. Came with a really sweet body kit which is long gone. Car is d-bondoed and d-riced. Everything accept the car is in primer and ready for paint at work. My over all plan was to make it a daily driver, so i kinda went on the cheap and im regretting it. I bought a 1990 integra b18a1 motor with 123K, a 1996 ls tranny with 90K ,new clutch,brand new distributor,brand new battery,new plugs,new wires,and i had an obd1 wiring harness & obd1 ls ecu laying around. I recently put my AWESOME
set up in and cant for the life of me get it to crank over, all my grounds are hooked up. Ive tried pressing the black button under the dash where the clutch pedal comes in contact with and nothing. Ive checked fuses. I took the starter out and bench tested it, its fine. When i goto start the car the check engine light does not come on. When i turn the key to try and start the car i also hear a relay, which ive traced back to the cooling fan relay which i find strange. Also the oil light and check engine light come on at the same time really dim while the other lights remain bright. This cars a pile of **** and all i want to do is get a car back on the road. Any help would be great, thanks!
