h23 Swap help Obd2b into obd2a
Her is the scenario -
http://images.ibsrv.net/ibsrv/res/sr...ilies/boom.gif
Have this 2000 Si civic couple(obd2b)vtec,
and this 1996 Dx civic hatch(obd2a)non vtec.
I'm dropping in the H23 from the Si into the Hatch Dx.
The H23 Dohc Vtec has a Si engine harness.
As far as I can see, and have researched...
I will need a new engine harness and jumper harnesss
to be able to turn and and run the car in the hatch.
That goes without saying, the Vtec wiring and Knock sensor.
I have the ECU already from the si.
I already have all the bolt-ons like axles and what not..
Shift linage after market kit so no cutting, Mounts, tranny.
Upgraded suspension and brakes to handle the extra weight and power.
As far a wiring, am i missing anything? or can i use the same wiring?
I checked the hybrid forums, would like a second opinion for anyone familiar or more understanding of the technical stuff!
Making sure if missed anything or got anything wrong.
Your help is much appreciated.

Re-use the engine harness from your dx. Add in vtec, iab, vtec oil pressure, and knock sensor wiring. Re-pin iacv from 3 pin to 2 pin. obd2a to obd1 jumper harness, obd1 p28 ecu, and tune.
Why cant he just run the p2p ecu he is using now...? get the obd2b to obd2a jumper.. if its got a h23a base map and runs no problem, then why waste money on getting a p28. looks pretty stock with couple bolt ons so no need for an obd1 ecu just cuz its easier to tune.
