Default b18a1 heat

i have an 88 civic hatch b18a1 swap and my heater doesn't work. there is no a/c in the car but when i turn it on all im getting is cool air, what could i do to get some heat i'm in Montana and it is defiantly needed.

Could be the heater valve....Its located behind the engine next to the firewall. Just follow the coolant lines going to it. If it just stuck closed or there is a broken cable you will have no heat.
