i know about the speeds 1 and 2 not working means its the resistor right? well on my car only speed 1 doesnt work and all the others do. also when its cold out like in the mornings the switch is real stiff like it doesnt have that click feeling in between settings so you just gota move it around till the blower goes on. then when its warm it fells like normal. any help would be great.

 

Very high possibility your switch is gummed up/corroding. You can take your climate control apart to look at the switch - but honestly, who actually uses the lowest setting anyways?

 

It could still be the resistor if it's only speed 1 not working.

 

i think ill try the resistor first can you visually tell if its bad?

 

Sometimes it's so bad you can see it, sometimes it isn't. Only way to know for sure is to use a multi-meter.
