Default My 1995 civic sedan build thread

hello honda-tech. so i decided to start a thread about my build for my 1995 honda civic sedan. i bought her amonth ago for $750.

Me gusta! Any suspension upgrades?

Personally I like the stock height on these things (and 99% of cars, for that matter). I think it is suiting, for a sedan.

i want to lower her just abit. i dont want to dump her though. i dont want attention from cops.

parts list i need to start the build: (any sponsers would be great)
-full suspension
-transmission with lsd
-stage 2 cams

as of right now the d15b7 that came with the car has a blown head gasket so i am taking the saturday to get her running and smogged this week so i can register her.

this build is for track/daily driving purposes. when im done with it i will have a mid 13 second sedan and sell the car for a nice profit.

i sold the integra shell to a guy in reno. he had some nice cars so im sure my integra will comeout nice again. she will be missed rip ]=

correction: its a 95 b18c1. i wish i had a itr motor lol. but i rebuilt it with wiesco pistons 11.8.1 compression pistons.

yessir. set the bottom block to tdc and the cam gear to "up" lol. everyone said sohc are easier to work on this is my first time and i think i like working with dohc better. but it was 10x easier to pop the head off.

That block doesn't look like it is at TDC. Did you do it after the pic?

tdc is not set in the picture. this is just a picture i took because i finished taking the head off. i set everything after i put it back together.

i replaced the timing belt, water pump, and head gasket. cel comes on code 41 which says oxygen sensor is bad. it idles inconsistenly up and down. i checked the manifold no leaks. any ideas? timing is correct. or should be lol.

Thats what I was saying........(In the middle of a headgasket job myself) and I was like...um thats not TDC in the pic....lol.

What a nightmare it is---if its not in tdc...lmao.
