Very Simple Injector problem - plz help
Hey I am working on a 96 Honda Odyssey.
One injector is not working.
I have power to 3/4 injectors.
I swapped the bad injector for a good one and it still does not work (therefore wiring fault.)
I need to know what will cause one injector wire to go dead.
Thanks for any help or suggestions.

Did you notice any corrosion at the injector connector?
First, check for blown fuse(s) and all the grounds you can find. Then...
Test for voltage at the connector. Power for injector4- yellow, injector3- blue, injector2- red, injector1- brown, black is ground for all injectors. Is there voltage?
yes- Probably a grounding issue. Most likely a bad injector resistor.
no- Test for voltage at the ECM: connector A terminal 1- yellow, 2- blue, 3- red, 4- brown. Are you getting voltage at the desired terminal?
no- possibly a bad ECM
Yes- check continuity (Ohms) of that wire from the ECM to the injector connector. Is there continuity?
no- break in the wire or bad connection
yes- grounding issue, probably the injector resistor

it turned out to be a loose wire in the injector resistor box plug. the solution always seems to be the simplest one possible. but thanks for the answer it was very informative and i will keep this in mind if i ever have bad injectors again :D
