2002 TL keyless entry problem?

2002 TL keyless entry problem?
My GF has a 2002 Acura TL. And the keyless entry keyfob only works directly after shutting the car off or after unlocking the doors manually.
I have tested the keyfob and all of the resistors are working and its has a new battey, but the problem persist. I was wondering if the problem was with the keyless entry unit in the car itself?
Does anyone have any ideas?
