I am searched this topic and i am only posting this to confirm what i have read....

I have an OBD 1 Ej1 1994.....i am putting a OBD 2 LS swap from H motors in it...I can use the OBD 2 motor harness and i need a OBD 1 ECU correct?

 

if the LS swap is jdm the harness will not work, you can get a usdm odb2 harness and it should be plug and play

 

yeah i know i ran into this problem with the JDM harness last time i got a motor from hmotors

 

use the harness from ur ej1 it will work just wire the distributer to work with obd2 and do the same with the alternator. works great for me just make sure u soulder it good

 

Can't use my original usdm harness...it went through a flood. I don't want my plugs to corrode and stuff

 

Get a OBD2 harness and everything will plug into your civic's harness.
