Default Timing/Ignition issues?

Recently decided to go mpfi after dealing the dpfi forever, what all is in it;

D16Y8 long block
D16Z6 intake manifold
D16Z6 throttle body
Monotech DPFI to MPFI swap harness
CRX Si ECU
Rywire OBD0 to OBD2a distributor jumper
OBD2a distributor

The car is having big issues running. The only way you are able to get it to run correct is to turn the distributor left past where the ear is able to bolt to the ear on the head, when I do this, none of the ears on the distributor line up with the ears on the head. I have NO idea why the hell this is, and I have NO solution. Could the motor have jumped time to where it will only run super retarded[or advanced]? Any help would be awesome, thanks. If you need more info about it let me know

You can't use an OBD-0 ECU and a OBD-1/2 distributor or vica-versa...

Why can't I? If I have the distributor jumper harness from OBD0 to 2a, then wouldn't the harness make it so the OBD2a distributor runs like it's OBD0?

The reluctor rings are different - plain and simple - IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO GET IT TO WORK, without MAJOR modifications - even then after all the machine work I doubt it. It would be cheaper to just buy the correct stuff.

It ran the same exact way with just an a6 distributor, the motor has jumped time by a tooth.
