Driver side making a ringing noise from wheel
I drive a 96 Civic CX.
So yesterday i lowered my car some more, maybe by an inch (coil over sleeves) and installed short shifter with new bushing.
After that, I hear a ringing sound from the driver side front wheel whenever I'm driving. Even when i jerk my steering wheel to the left like half an inch. It's a very sharp ring sound, imagine tapping two glass bottles against each other. That's basically how it sounds. (ding ding ding)
I push down on the hood by the fender on the driver side, and it makes the same ringing sound. So what could it be?
I'm quite sure everything was tighten after adjusting my car height but I'll check again.
This ringing sound was never there before
NOTE: the sound occurs even when my car is off and parked
EDIT: (11/30/11)
Just for future references, I went ahead and got my driver side CV halfshaft replaced since the boot was torned. The sound went away after.

Jack the car up and check. Could be a lot of things - maybe you bent the dust shield? Did you install the coilover sleeves properly?
Take pics and post them up.

Well I finally jacked up the left side of the car and see if anything is loose. Nothing was loose. I did find that my left side CV boot is ripped. Not too sure if that's the reason but I wouldn't think so since the sound has only been happening after I lowered my car some more.
I even turned the wheels while the car was up, no sound. The sound occurred once I let the car back down with the wheel on.
I totally forgot to check if my wheel was rubbing against something though

try carefully jacking the car from under the suspension/lca/balljoint area so weight is on the suspension just enough so the wheel is 1 inch off the ground and spin the wheel by hand.
