Bought this Cash Car In June for 1,400 to save money i was paying 600+ a month on car payment. N E Ways the car gets me from Point A to Point B but here are the issues

1) A/C will only blow air if the **** is turned to FULL blast, this is for both heat and cold.

2)pulled spark plugs out n i have oil in them (driver side left is not as bad as the passenger one) which is what i think is giving me the misfire on the engine causing it to be jumpy= Replaces O-rings and gasket seal but that didnt work i think the problem is further below and me a girl cannot go that far... i was only able to do the top part myself. (tried Blue Devil but worked for 1 day and thats it )

3) weird squeak when i turn the A/C on.

4) when i turn corners with my car my stearing wheel will make noise (probably power stearing?)

5) The car when placed in park it wont give me back my keys from ignition. I notice once i turned the keys like if i was gunna turn the car on again it was not reading Parking it was reading like it was on S3 gear so i have to hit the gear and wiggle it untill it says parking even tho its already in parking and then i can get my keys out the ignition switch.

6) my rear driver side speakers dont work well n my system (bass speakers) but radio works

7) Car will stall when stopping and shut off if less than 1/2 a tank of gas. every 150 miles i need to fill up so car wont shut off

8) car spedometer is very jumpy

anyone out there can help me out that would be great. i would rather fix the car myself like i have tried to instead of getting ripped off by a mechanic

 

Haha! We are in the same boat. Just got my Teggy 2 months ago for $1000 for the exact same reason. Since nobody has responded, I'll take a crack at it.

1) Sound like the blower motor resistor pack is fried. Not hard to replace, you need to pull the passenger side knee panel to get access to the blower motor.

2) Sounds like the Valve Seats are worn out. Are you burning quite a bit of oil?

3) Could be a loose AC Compressor belt, or worn belt.

4) Check the Power Steering fluid level.

5) Sounds like a worn ignition. Not sure on this one.

6) Not sure if you're making a comment here, or want advice. Speakers are easy to replace in the Teggy.

7) My guess is a bad fuel pump, or plugged Fuel Filter. Fuel Filter is easy to change. It's mounted to the firewall on the passenger side, under the hood.

8) Sounds like the Speedometer cable isn't seated properly into the Power Steering Speed sensor. Easy fix. Follow the speedometer cable out of the firewall down to the transmission. Should be a rubber boot and clip holding it in. Sounds like it might have popped out some. It just sits in there.
