Don't bother. They really don't do much of anything.

or that --> http://benen.com/index.php?option=co...chk=1&Itemid=3

and yes they do make a difference if you're taking the car to the tire’s adhesion limit while cornering.
I’ve ran pretty much every style bar; crappy ebay shock mounted, ITR, Neuspeed, PasswordJDM 3-point and benen 3-point.
I can feel the difference between all of them. The main thing to me is to go with the 3-point setup.

T6061 aircraft grade aluminum. Thats what password jdm suggests. Adamantium is hard to come by these days. Try to stay away from plastic and wood tie bars i hear they flex too much

The bars should be solid if you're going actually fabricate these. YOu want to minimize the points of flex/failure.

x2, there is a reason you don't see any place to adjust a PasswordJDM, Benen, or Carbing solid bar. You want rigidity.

For the money, you could upgrade your front/rear sway bar and add a subframe brace - it'll make a whole world of different compared to strut bars.

To be honest... cost wise it wouldnt be worth it with people making them in mass they can get supplies at a much lower cost.

Have you checked craigslist? I picked up a gsr/del sol vtec front strut bar for $25. I'm all for DIY, but I also like the clean OEM look.

You can get the cheap 3-point knock-off stuff on Ebay for $50. Can't vouch for construction or materials.

I would just buy one or look around a few junkyards. It'll end up looking alot nicer than some square stock with a few holes drilled in it.
