Screw that. Another point of entry for thieves. I think it may be possible, just not easy.

Do Ek's get stolen?......yes they do and they dont use the pop out windows because Ek's dont have them, so still going to happen.

Now come on people help me out, point me in the right direction.

What i was goin to do was take everything from a Ef and custom fit everything on to my Ek minus the glass.

Making it work wont be the hard part, the hard part is going to be making a hole in the glass for the handle and making sure it seals properly when closed so it dosent leak water.

I have the general idea of how i will do it in my head already so now i need to get all the material i will need and lets get her done.

Help me out, a kick in the right direction would be nice.

Believe it when I see it. If the hardest part is going to be drilling a hole in the glass and finding the right sized rubber gasket/grommet for the handle then you're in trouble because that should be the EASY part.

BTW, I said it would be ANOTHER possible point of entry for thieves. Don't be so literal.

Can one even drill that type of glass without shattering it? Only tip: measure 3 times then mark.... measure twice more then perform.

Everything will be used from the ef the hinge will be trimmed to fit the ek glass.

I will make a custom bracket to mount the handle and i will have to either try and remold the rubber seal that goes under the glass or get a few of them and find a way to permanantly fuse them together.

And i wasnt taking it literal i just wanted to say i will do it even if it means it can be a entry point.
