h22 civic traction bar fittment?
Im not sure about the differences within the front subframe of the coupe, but i have a 1998 Civic Hatch with an H22A and Full-Race traction bars, using Hasport H-Series mounts, everything works great.
Are the bars made for a swap like this? Every other thread I've read said that they won't fit if they're made strictly for a Civic with stock engine.
Im not sure if the bars are custom made for the H-swap or not. I know that there is a difference between the oil pans from American to JDM H22 engines, i have a header for the Hseries that would not clear my jdm oil pan (made to fit the american oil pan)....maybe this causes the fitment issues because the oil pan is the closest to interfering with the traction bars.

They can get you one for a H22 swapped EK. They even have an option to add a provision for the front mount, too. Kinda expensive, but I have their alternator relocation bracket (allowing me to use an OBD0 D15 Civic alt.) and love it. I plan on getting a traction bar from them once tax return season comes around.
