Default B18b dipstick length

So i just finished an oil change on my LS swapped EK. Added the factory recommended 4 quarts. and after checking the dip stick it showed 0 oil in it. I checked for leaks and everything but 4 quarts just dosnt end up disappearing. My guess is the mechanic that did the swap used the D series Dip stick on the B series.

My questions is i know the part numbers are different but can anyone measure there B series Dipstick so i can be sure before i order one?

Thanks

So are the B series and D series oil dip sticks the same length?

How long ago did you add the oil? Takes some time to trickle down sometimes.

From where the two pieces are joined together by the two rivets it's 9 1/4 inches.

Did you drive it at all? My oil didn't show up right away when I changed my oil last either. Let it idle for a couple minutes and it showed up.

No problem, I didn't make it too clear but that's from the end that goes into the oil pan up to where the two rivets are before the two pieces overlap
