JDM DC2R steering into EG simple question.
Hey guys,
So I searched a lot of info about fitting a JDM DC2R SRS steering wheel into an EG or a Teg.
And I know about how to make them work and how to install them properly to make the airbag work, and NO, I'm not gonna solder and re-solder the SRS wiring, I will just de-pin and re-pin the SRS connector.
But now I got just 1 simple question, since the clock spring (cable reel) have to be turned clockwise about 80 degree, would the auto off signal work properly?
I found an info about it and they said the auto off signal wont work properly since the clock springs have been turned, Is that right?
I just need this to be clarified, because I found a way to make it a little bit better (turned less degree) by using JDM CTR SRS steering wheel hub (the hub on those JDM MOMO steering wheel are interchangable).
Please let me know about it.
Thanks a lot.

I don't understand the question. It will either work or it will not work. If you have a better way please try it and let US know.
to be able to fit the DC2R SRS steering wheel into EG, the cable reel (clock springs) has to be turned clockwise about 80 degree, and from what I told by my buddy the auto off turn signal wont work properly, I just need a clarification if its true?
Thats all, if you never try to install it or never know how to install it ofcourse you wont understand my question.
Maybe you don't understand what I am saying. If the auto signal does not work will that prevent you from installing the wheel? If not then it will not matter either way. The wheel will be installed. So install it and find out.
If you have nothing to say please just let somebody elses say something about it.
Thanks for the advice anyway but it doesnt work,
Anyone willing to share some info about it?
Thanks

He thinks he's found a way to do this swap and retain the auto turn signal function (that he has read is lost when doing this swap). Exactly how he THINKS he's figured it out is not clear except that it appears to have to do with interchangeable hubs.
