How I fixed 2001 Accord door actuator
My right rear door on my 2001 Honda Accord V6 power door lock was working intermittently. I went ahead and figured out the door actuator was bad. I searched other forums and found out I can try to replace the door actuator motor for around $7. I bought the part Mabuchi FC280PC-22125 without the brass collar. I had a hard time removing the brass collar from my old motor and putting it in the new motor. Using pliers and hammer I was finally able to remove the collar. I suggest you purchase the MABUCHI MOTOR FC-280PT-22125 which includes a brass collar. Looks like it should work. The photos of the original Mabuchi motor and the door actuator.

the one with the collar included doesnt look like what's in your photo. that collar was pressed on that shaft so how you got it off is a miracle, but i might have to try that, my passenger front actuator is dead. I'd rather just replace the motor too
As you noticed it is a PITA to replace the motor. Also the plastic gears is going to wear out as well so might as well replace everything. They sell the whole actuator on amazon for under $15
Just make sure you get the right make/model, if it is 4 door or 2 door and driver or passenger side.
