Anybody bought and used one before? Thoughts on it and any issues?

 

I never used oversized cats on honda products but I have used them on corvettes.

You won't notice any power differences at normal driving speeds or have an increase on fuel mileage but you might have a better et at the drag strip.

 

Do you have a 3" exhaust? I'd just go for a straight pipe instead of the high flow cat.

 

Car is stock other than K&N intake and HFP axle back. Trying to refrain from spending any money on the car really. Figured the Berks 3" HFC with the intake and Flashpro would give a decent little gain.

 

I'm not seeing how a bigger cat will increase HP if the exhaust is stock.

 

Im sure a few extra ponies could be squeezed out. The stock cat is massive and more restrictive than the Berks. There's a thread somewhere floating around showing the difference between the Berks and stock unit. The stock exhaust is already a good flowing unit. I also may do a catback as well, like the HKS Ti-sport or something quiet like that.

Thinking this unit combined with flashpro, a TBS and my Vibrant streetpower would yield some pretty good gains with how much smaller the stock cat is compared to the Berks HFC. Anybody have one?
