Default Civic wont start

Ok so I have a completely stock 1994 Civic with a d15b7 auto. The other night I was driving and the car just died coming to a stop sign. No sputtering or loss of power just completely shut off like I killed the ignition. Well it wouldn’t restart resulting in a tow home. From my experience with all my Hondas I figured it was from the dizzy as this exact thing happened to my other Hondas. So I bought a fully rebuilt oem dizzy, new rotor, new cap, new plugs. Well it didn’t start. So my friend came over and we checked for spark and for fuel. Both check out fine. The fuel pump primes and I have no check engine lights and never have since owning this car. We then moved on to the timing. We double and triple checked it. Its dead on as the belt and pump were just done within the last year. I ever put it on tdc and pulled the cap off and the rotor was right on cylinder one. It just cranks over. We are stumped. Any ideas?

Is spark bright white at all 4 plugs?

Are the plug wires reinstalled in the correct firing order?

Do the fuel injectors spray fuel when the engine is cranked? Will the engine start with starting fluid?

The plug order has been checked and rechecked and it is correct. I only checked for spark at plug 1 and it was very bright white with a slight blueish tint. I should check at the other plugs too. How do I check for injectors spraying fuel? And I havent tried starting fluid

With the key turned all the way on, you can pull of the distributor and turn the drive gear by hand. You should be able to hear the injectors fire one at a time.

So turn the dizzy camshaft key by hand and listen for injectors to click? This works when the key is on auxiliary not trying to crank it over?

Yes the postion that the key would be in to run. One less then cranking. You should here a click and a faint hissing sound as the injector sprays.

Some people remove the fuel rail along with the injectors, crank the engine, and watch whether fuel sprays from all four injectors.

Ok so I jumped the ecu and got code 15 which is for ignition output signal. What should I be looking for? From my research it is the wires going to the dizzy and the ecu. I replaced the dizzy with a new one and a new cap and rotor and new plugs. My only problem with this cel is that the cel never came on while driving. Can the ecu store a code and not light up the cel on the dash?

Reset the ECU and crank the engine for 30 seconds to see whether code 15 returns. If it does not and you have bright white spark, then ignore the code and refocus on fuel.
